HEALTH FIRST'S BEN AUBIN, a member of The Wellagains singing group, says he appreciates his employer for its support. “There aren’t too many workplaces that allow for their employees during work hours to come out and do something like this.”

If we’ve heard them once, we’ve heard them a hundred times, and they never fail to bring a smile to our faces.

“The thing about Christmas music – everyone knows the words,” says Sean Michaels, Vice President of IT Operations at Health First, who leads the Health First choir, The Wellagains.

On December 16, the choir stopped by Trinity Towers South for a short performance of seasonal standards that included “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Deck the Halls,” “Let it Snow,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” “White Christmas” and “Frosty the Snowman.”

“The profession we are in is people. What we did, I hope, showed them that we care, that we want to be a part of everything they care about,” said LaToya Jones, a Health First Health Plans sales representative.

“I studied music, and music helps to frame people’s thoughts,” said Jessica Hicks, a fellow Health Plans associate. “So we can sing music and sow seeds of wellness … because music brings joy.”
